HomeMy WebLinkAbout12-032BUTTE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH WHEREAS, Lisa Cox, MI=T Assistant Director -Clinical Services of the Department of Behavioral Health (BCDBFi), has announced her retirement as of April 213, 2012; and WHEREAS, Lisa earned a Master of Science Degree in Psychology; and WHEREAS, Lisa began her career with the County of Butte on October 5, 1992 as a Mental Health Counselor in the ]ntensive Case Management Adult program, in 1995, she was promoted to a Mental Health Clinician, in 1996, she was promoted to a Supervising Mental Health Clinician, in 2001, she was promoted to a Program Manager of the Department's Drug Court programs, and finally in 2005, Lisa was promoted to the Assistant Director -Clinical Services: and WHEREA5, As a Marriage and Family Therapist, Supervisor, Program Manager and Assistant Director -Clinical Services, Lisa dedicated herself to providing excellent, positive and constructive support to staff and the individuals and families served, and valued the role of educating and empowering staff to provide the highest quality of work; and WHEREAS, Lisa has devoted her career to improving the fives of individuals with mental illness in our community through her tireless focus on meeting their needs through her work; and WHEREAS, Lisa has worked diligently for the past 20 years in the best interest of Butte County and its citizens, earning the respect and confidence of her BGDBH colleagues, employees, and many county, state and community partners; and WHEREAS, Lisa is now ready to enjoy her retired life with her family and friends. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board, on its own behalf and on behalf of the citizens of Butte Gounty, extends its appreciation for your many years of dedicated service.
