BETWEEN THE VICTIM COMPENSATION AND GOVERNMENT CLAIMS BOARD AND THE COUNTY OF BUTTE
(AGREEMENT #: VCG2045)
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors has previously entered into an agreement with the Victim
Compensation and Government Claims Board (hereafter referred to as the "VCGCB") and desires to continue the
program to expeditiously process claims for the unreimbursed losses of victims of crime, and
WHEREAS, the VCGBC has authorized and allocated $361,320 far the period of July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2015 to
implement this project subject to the execution of a Standard Agreement and acknowledgment of the terms and
conditions contained therein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE lT RESOLVED that the District Attorney of the County of Butte is authorized to submit the
attached agreement to the VCGBC and is authorized to execute on behalf of the Board of Supervisors the Standard
Agreement including any extensions or amendments thereof.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 22"d day of May, 2012 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Wahl, Kirk, Yamaguchi and Chair Lambert
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
