RESOLUTION IN RECOGNITION OF THE COLLECTIVE CENTURY OF INSTRUCTION
INSIDE BUTTE COUNTY JUVENILE HALL BY TABLE MOUNTAIN SCHOOL PERSONNEL: RON MYERS,
SALLY SHEA, SAL RAMtRF.Z, BECKY BRACK, AND KIM AGUR
WHEREAS, The Butte County Probation Department operates the Butte County Juvenile Hall; and
WHEREAS, Within this locked juvenile detention facility, Table Mountain School provides year-round
education under the management of the Butte County ~fFice of Education; and
WHEREAS, By the end of this school year, June 30°i, Bve Table Mountain School employees will have retired,
with collectively over a century of instruction; and
WHEREAS, Most all that 100-plus years of instruction was with juvenile offenders housed in juvenile hall; and
WHEREAS, Ron Myers, Sally Shea, Sal Ramirez, Becky Brack, and Kim Agur have each served with distinction
and devotion in a challenging environment but an environment that also provided much educational achievement; and
WHEREAS, Butte County Juvenile Hall has been most fortunate and thankful to have such a steadfast array of
academic professionals.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLOVED that the Board, on its awn behalf and on behalf of the citizens of
Butte County, extends its appreciation to this Table Mountain School team for their many years of dedicated service.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 12"' day of June, 2012 by the
following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Wahl, Kirk, Yamaguchi and Chair Lambert
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
