FOR SPECIAL DISTRICTS UNDER CONTROL OF THE BUTTE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
FOR FISCAL YEAR 2012-2013
AS REQUIRED BY SECTION 7910, DIVISION 9
DF THE CALIFORNIA GOVERNMENT CODE
WHEREAS, Article X111-B of the California Constitution provides that local governments must
establish annual appropriation limits pursuant to said Article, and;
WHEREAS, Section 7910, Division 9, of the Government Code, provides that the governing body
of each local jurisdiction shall, by resolution, establish its appropriations limit for the following year at a
regularly scheduled meeting, and;
WHEREAS, the Auditor-Controller has calculated the Butte County appropriations limit for the
applicable special districts to be the amounts shown on Attachment A for fiscal year 2012-2013.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the appropriations limits for Special Districts under
control of the Board of Supervisors of Butte County are established to be the amount shown on
Attachment A for fiscal year 2012-2D13, and
FURTHER, that said appropriations limit, and the determination thereof are in compliance with
Article Xlll-B of the California Constitution.
PA55ED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors, County of Butte, State of California, this 9th
day of October, 2012, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Wahl, Kirk, Yamaguchi and Chair Lambert

SPECIAL DISTRICTS UNDER CONTROL OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
2012-2013 APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT CALCULATION
The 2012-2013 Appropriation Limit for the following special districts was computed by
factoring the 2011-2012 limit, modified pursuant to the changes in Article Xlli B made by
proposition 111, by the estimated increases in the California per capita personal income
and population as presented to Butte County by the State Department of Finance.
