HomeMy WebLinkAbout12-121Resolution No. 12-121 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PUBLIC SERVICE HOURS FOR BUTTE COUNTY LIBRARY WHEREAS, Butte County Code Section 2.1 provides that the Board of Supervisors may, by resolution, specify those hours during which individual departments will be open to the public; and WHEREAS, each year the Library requests permission to close branches at 5:00 p.m. on the Wednesday prior to Thanksgiving, December 24th, and becember 31st; and WHEREAS, the Library would like to have these special holiday closing times permanently established. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Butte County Board of Supervisors that the Library will be open to the public effective November 21, 2012 as follows: BieeS Branch Tuesday Chico Branch Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday noon - 6pm 9 am - 5 pm 9 am-7 pm gam-7 pm gam -7 pm gam -5 pm gam-5 pm Durham Branch Tuesday noon - 6pm Wednesday noon - 6pm Thursday 10 am - 4 pm Friday 10 am -4 pm Saturday 10 am -4 pm Gridle Branch Tuesday noon - 6pm Wednesday noon - 6pm Thursday 10 am -4 pm Friday 10 am -4 pm Saturday 10 am -4 pm 4roville Branch Tuesday 11 am - 5 pm Wednesday 11 am - 6pm Thursday 10 am - 5 pm Friday 10 am - 5 pm Saturday 10 am - 5 pm Paradise Branch Tuesday 11 am - 6pm Wednesday 11 am - 6pm Thursday 10 am - 5 pm Friday 10 am - 5 pm Saturday 10 am - 5 pm BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all branches normally closed on Mondays will observe Monday holidays on the preceding Saturday and all branches will close at 5:00 p. m. on the following days each year: the Wednesday prior to Thanksgiving, December 24th and December 31st.
