HomeMy WebLinkAbout12-133RESOLUTION REQUE5TING APPROVAL TO APPLY FOR ANTI-DRUG ABUSE ENFORCEMENT TEAM GRANT PROGRAM FUNDS WHEREAS, the Butte County Probation Department desires to participate in the Anti-Drug Abuse Enforcement Team Grant Program supported by the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program funds and administered by the Board of State and Community Corrections (hereafter referred to as the B5CC), the available funding to Butte County is $135,447.00 and the expenditure period is October 1, 2012 to September 30, 2013. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Chief Probation Officer is authorized on behalf of the Butte County Board of Supervisors to submit the grant application for this funding and sign the Grant Agreement with the BSCC, including any amendments, modifications, or extensions to the grant thereof. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that federal grant funds received hereunder shall not be used to supplant expenditures controlled by this body. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Butte County Probation Department and partnering entities agree to abide by the statutes and regulations governing the federal Justice Assistance Grant Program as well as the terms and conditions of the Grant Agreement as set forth by the BSCC. PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors in a meeting thereof held on the 11t~'day of December 2012 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Wahl, Kirk, Yamaguchi and Chair Lambert NOES: None ABSENT: None NOT VOTING: None Steve Lamb ,Chair Butte County Board of Supervisors ATl Pau Anc By:
