AN ORDINANCE AML;NDING 0~2DINANCE N0. 1095 OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE, KNOIdN A`5 THE "SALARY 012DINANCE"
The Board of Superviso+-s of the County of Butte, State
of Califo+-nia, DO ORDAIN, as follows:
Section 1. Section No. 49 of Ordinance No. 1095 of
the County of Butte is h@reby amended by deleting the enti+-e
section and adding thereto the following:
SECTION N0. 49
~ PAYMENT OF 'SALARIES: The salaries of the officers,
deputies, clerks, and employees of the several departments
and institutions of the county shall be paid on a bi-weekly
schedule. Extra help employed by departments and institutions
of the county shall be limited to the budgetary provisions
therefore and such extra help shall also be paid on a bi-weekly
schedule in the same manner as the officers, deputies, clerkd,
and employees referred to above, except Volunteer Fireman shall
be paid quadra-weekly.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect on
January 1, 1972 which is in excess of thirty (30) days after
the date of its adoption, and before the expiration of fifteen
(~.5) days after its passage, it shall be published with the
names of the members voting for and against same, once in a
newspaper publishdd in the County of Butte, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte this 30th day of November, 1971 by the
