AN ORDINANCE ZOfVING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AN "AR-MH" (AGRICULTURAL RESIDEN-
TIAL-f~iOBILE HOME) DISTRICT, PURSUANT TO ORDINAiVC>"
N4. 475, AS AMENDED
The Board of Supervisors of the Gounty of Butte, State of
California, under and pursuant to Ordinance, No. 475 of said Gounty,
tieing the Zoning Enabling Ordinance of said County, as amended,
DO ORDAIN as follows:

SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area, situate in the
County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby
zoned as an "AR-MH" (Agricultural Residential - Mobile home)
District, and such area shall be subject to the restrictions-and
restricted uses and regulations hereinafter specified and provided.
Said area so zoned being located in the unincorporated area of
3utte County, near Oraviile, California, more particularly described
as fallavrs:
Being till of Lot 310 of "Oroville~-Wyandotte Fruitlands
Unit #6" per map recorded in F9ap Book 10 on page 4A in
the office of Butte Gounty Recorder.
Containing 8.60 acres, more or less.
SECTION 2. REGULATIONS FOR AN "AR-MH" DISTRICT:
The following regulations shall apply in an "AR-f~9H" District

a. Single-family dwellings.
b. Mobile Eames - to house one family, ~vhen such mobile
home i s the only housing foci 1 i ty located on the
premises, provided the following can ditions are con-
formed to:
1) The gross area of the mobile home shall not be
Iess than 500 square feet.
~, 2) All sanitary facilities shall conform to State
Statutes and regulations and to local requirements

of the Butte County F{ealth Department.
3} All electrical installations shall conform to

State Statutes and regulations as administered

by the Building Division of the Butte county Public

c. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted uses.

2.2 THE FOLLOWING USES SUaJECT TO SECURING A USE PERMIT Iid
EACH CASE:
a. Duplex dwellings and multiple-family dwellings.
b. Golf courses, country clubs, if permitted, would permit
accessary uses such as driving range, pra shop, coctail
bar, restaurant.
c. Public and quasi_public uses including churches, fire-
houses, hospitals, parks and playgrounds, schools and
public utility buildings.
d. Commercial poultry farming and livestock farming. ~,
e. Veterinary clinics, outpatient.
f. Nurseries and plant gardens.
2.3 LOT AREA REQUIRED: P9inimum required area of a lot per
dwelling unit shall be not less than eight~tf2ousant one hundred
ttiventy-five (8,125} square feet.
2.4 LOT ulIDTH REQUIRED: f4inimum lot width shall be not
less than sixty-five (65) feet.
2.5 FRONT YARD REQUIRED: f~inimum front yard shall be fifty
x(50} feet from the centerline of the road, except where the road is
classified by the County as a Federal Rid Secondary Road, the mini-
mum building setback requirement shall be fifty-five (55) feet
from the centerline of the road,
2.6 SIDE YAP,D REQUIRED: f9inimum side yard shall not be
less than five (5) feet.
SECTION 3. Al l uses of 1 and i~ai thi n the district not
specifically authorized and permitted in Section 2 are prohibited.

SECTION 4. In compliance l~~ith the provisions of the Zoning
Enabling Ordinance, the same is hereby amended by adding this
Ordinance in full.
SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the zoning
hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided in the
' Zoning Enabling Ordinance. In compliance G,rith the provisions of
the Zoning Enabling Ordinance, this ordinance shall be from and
after its effective date become a supplement to and part of the
Zoning Enabling Ordinance.
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be and it is hereby declare
to be in full force and effect Pram and after thirty (3O} days
after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen,,

(l5} days after its passage, this ordinance shall be published
once a,~ith the names of the members of the Board of Supervisors
voting for and against it in the Orovzlle Mercury _, a news-
paper published in the County of Butte, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of California, this 25th day of April ,
1972, by the following vote:
