AS AMENDED 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 ld 11 12 13' 14 1~ 16 1'7 ~.8 19 20 21 22 23 24 2~ 26 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, under and pursuant to Ordinance No. 475, as amended, and declaring an emergency, DO ORDAIN as follows: SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situate in the 'County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby zoned as an "5--1" (Medium Density ,Suburban Residential) District for a period of ~ days, and such area shalt be subject to the restrictions and restricted uses and regulations hereinafter specified and provided. Said area so zoned being located in the unincorporated area of Butte County near Chico, California, more jparticularly described as follows: ~ All that property located east of the existing "A-3" District and west of the following described Tine: beginning at the intersection of Glenwood Road and the southwesterly line of lot 2 of "Bidwell 2nd Sub"; per map recorded in Map Book 5 an page 27; thence southeasterly along the southwesterly line of Lots 72, 73, 74, 75, 75, 77, 78, 79 and 80 to the southwest corner of Lot 81; thence S77o36'E, 279.37 ft:; thence south 125 ft. to Sacramento Ave.; thence east along Sacramento Ave., to Oak Lawn Ave.; thence south along Oak Lawn Ave. to the north line of "Oak Lawn Manor Sub", per map recorded in Map Boak 17 on page 37; thence east along the north line of said "Oak Lawn Manor Sub" to the west line of Lot 8 of said "Bidwell 2nd Sub"' thence south along the west line of said lot 8 to the southwest corner of said Lot 8; also being the northwest corner of Lot 9, said "Bidwell 2nd Sub"; thence east to t~~e northeast corner of said Lot 9; thence south 503 ft.; thence west 92.5 ft.; thence south 209 ft.; thence east 78.5 ft.; thence south 274.9 ft. to Stewart Avenue; thence south along Stewart Avenue and the southerly prolongation of Stewart Avenue to Big Chico Creek; thence easterly along Sig Chico Creek, to the northeast corner of Lot 3 of "Oak Manor", per map recorded in Map Book 34. on page 45; thence southwesterly to the southeast corner of ~- said "Oak Manor"; thence southerly acxass Oak Park Avenue to the northeast corner of Lot 9 of "Morehead 2 Ranch Sub. REGULATIONS FOR AN "S~--l"D2STRICT_ The 13 following regulations shall apply to an "S-1" Distract: ~-~ 2.1 USES PERMITTED: 15 a. Single family dwellings, not including tents or lfi mobile homes. 17 b. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted uses. 18 2.2 Agricultural uses, except livestock, subject to the 19 following requirements: 24 a. For each horse or head of cattle over one year of 21 age, one (1} acre. 22 b. For each head of sheep or goats, one (1} acre for 23 the first head and one half {z} acre for each head 24 thereafter . 2° c. This urgency ordinance shall talse effect 2 immediately upon its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen ~ (l~) days after its passage sha11 be published once with the names 4 of all members of the Board of Supervisors-voting for and against 5 the same in the _~ (;h~ ~~Fnt,etpri~~._ _ _ ,~,,~,. a newspaper in 6 general circulation in the County of Butte, State of California. 7 The facts constituting the urgency on which this ordinance is 8 based are: 9 1. The existing A-2 Zone permits uses which may be 10 incompatible with the developed single family dwelling nature of lI the subject area. 12 2. The planning commission will soon be considering a 13 petition requesting rezoning of the subject area into zoning 14 districts more restrictive than the existing districts. 1~ 3.
