The additional compensation paid a Constable shall be based upon merit and length of service as set forth in Sections 6.7 and 6.8 of the Personnel Rules. 6. 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 Section ~-. Section No. 49 of Ordinance No. 1095 of the County of Butte, is hereby amended by deleting therefrom the section in its entirety and adding thereto the following: SECTION N0. ~+9 PAYMENT OF SALARIES: Notwithstanding an.y provis~ns of this ordinance to the contrary, bi-weekly salaries for rates shown in Section 3 (B) and Section 4 shall be determined by converting the monthly salary rates to an annual rate and dividing the annual rate by 2b. For the purpose of setting pay periods throughout the year beginning January 1, 1972 each bi-weekly pay period will commence on Saturday at 12:01 a.m. and will end at 12:00 midnight on the second Friday following. Each 1~ day bi-~•reekly period will encompass ZO assigned compensated days including holidays for regular employees. Regular employees performing less than full time services during any bi-weekly period shall be compensated on a prorata basis, the ratio being the percentage of time worked to the aforesaid bi-weekly period. Extra help employees shall be paid on an hourly basis for hours actually worked. Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect .the 26th day of August, 1972, and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage, i.t shall be published in a newspaper published in the County of Butte, State of California.
