UPON RETIREMENT FROM THE BUTTE COUNTY GENERAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, Wayne Mitchell, Jr., a Lead Janitor in the General Services Department announced his retirement as
of December 31, 2012; and
WHEREAS, Wayne began his career with the County of Butte in March of 1976 as a Janitor and moved up to
Lead Janitor; and
WHEREAS, Wayne has provided excellent customer service through dedication and hard work by helping
maintain the offices, courts, and libraries used by his fellow employees and the citizens of Butte County; and
WHEREAS, Wayne has taken great pride in his job as a public servant, always conducting himself with the
highest level of integrity and responsibility; and
WHEREAS, Wayne has worked diligently for mare than 36 years in the best interest of Butte County and its
citizens, earning the respect and confidence of his fellow employees throughout the county.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board, on its awn behalf and on behalf of the citizens of Butte
County, extends its appreciation for Wayne's many years of dedicated service.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this SE" day of January, 2013.
