The Board of Supervisors of the County of Eutte, State of
California under and pursuant to Ordinance No. 475; as amended,
DO Oi~DAIN, as follows
SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situate in the
County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby
zoned an "A-SR" (Agricultural-Suburban Residential) District and
-such area shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted uses
and regulations hereinafter specified and provided, said area s~o
zoned being located near Chico, California and particularly des-
cribed as.
Parcel Beginning at the intersection of Glenwood Road and the
l southwesterly line of Lot 2 of "Bidwell. 2nd Sub."; per
map recorded in map book 5 on Wage 27; thence south-
easterly along the southwesterly line of Lots 72, 73,
74, 75, and 76 to Oak Way; thence westerly along Oak
Way to Glenwood Avenue; thence north along Glenwood
Avenue to the point of beginning. Containing 39 acres,
more or less.
Parcel Beginning at the Wort°~west corner of Lot l5, of "Oak
2 LaUm "x~anor Sub."; per map recorded in map book 17 on
page 37; said corner being in Oak Lawn Avenue, approxi-
mately 330 ft. south of Sacramento Avenue; thence east
along the north line of said "Oak La~rm Pfanor Sub." to
the west line of Lot B of "Did:*eZl 2nd Sub .'' , per
map recorded in map book 5 on page 27; thence south
along the west line of said Lot B to the southwest
corner of said Lot 8; also being the northwest corner
of Lot 9, said "Bidwell 2nd Sub."; thence east to
the northeast corner of said Lot 9; thence south 503
ft; thence west 92.5 f t; thence south 209 ft; thence
east, 78.5 ft; thence south 274.9 ft. to Ste~~~art
Avenue; thence south along Stewart Avenue and the
southerly prolongation of Stewart Avenue to ~3ig
Chico Creek; thence westerly along Big Chico Creek
to the intersection of the southerly prolongation
of Oak La~~m AVenue and Big Chico Creels; thence north
along Oak Lawn Avenue to the paint of beginning.

17 The following regulations sha11 apply to an Agricultural Suburban-
18 Residential District (A--SR")
19 2.1 USES PERMITTED:
20 a• Single-family dwellings, not including tents or
21 mobile homes.
22 b. Accessary buildings pertinent to the permitted uses.
23 2.2 AGRTCULTUP,AL USES, EYCEPT LIVESTOCK SUBJECT TO THE
24 FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
~ a. For each horse or head of cattle over one year of
26 age one half acre, 21,780 sq. ft. ',

2.3 .LOT AREA:

2.5 FRONT YARD:

line of said road,

SECTION 3. The following uses subject to securing a Use

a. Public and quasi-public uses,. including churches.
b. Hospitals, parks and playgrounds, schools and public
utility buildings.
SECTION ~. All uses of land ~rithin the district not speci-
fically authorized and permitted in Sections 2 and 3 are prohibited
SECTION 5. In compliance with the provisions of said

2 SECTION ~ . The penalties for the ~rial.ation of the coning
3 hereby imposed within the distract shall. be as provided in the
4 Zoning Enabling Ordinance. In compliance ~,•rith the provisions of
5, the Zoning Enabling Ordinance, this Ordinance shall. from and after
6 its effective date become a supplement to and part of the Toning
7 Enabling Ordinance.
8 SECTION 7. This Ordinance shall be and it is "Hereby de-
9 clared to be an full. force and effect from and after thirty {30)
10 days after the date of its passage; and before the expiration of
I1 fifteen (15) days after its passage this Ordinance shall be
1~ pu}alashed once with the names of the me?nbers of the Board voting
13 for and against it in the Chico Enter rise , a newspaper
14 published in the County of Putte, State of California.
15 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of St~nervasars of the Count
16 of_ ?3utte, State of California, this 28th day of November ,1972 .
