HomeMy WebLinkAbout13-117~- ~ 3 Resolution No. 13-117 RESOLUTION IN RECOGNITION OF LARGE ANIMAL SHELTERING DURING THE SWE©ES FIRE BY CAMELOT EQUESTRIAN PARK WHEREAS, Camelot Equestrian Park answered the call to service and opened its corrals, stalls, pens and campground to the evacuees of the Swedes Fire; and WHEREAS, Camelot Equestrian Park housed 17 horses, 19 goats and 10 chickens from August 17, 2013 until the last animal was picked upon August 21, 2013; and WHEREAS, Camelot Equestrian Park is fulfilling its mission of stewardship by helping its neighbors in Butte County in a time of need. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Butte County Board of Supervisors would like to recognize and thank Camelot Equestrian Park for its generality and contribution to the safety of animals and first responders during the Swedes Fire.
