X75, as amended, 3 and declaring an emergency, DO ORDAIA? as follo~--~?s a 4 SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situate in the 5 County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby B zoned. a.s an "R-1" (Single -Family Residential) bistrict, and such 7 area shall be subject to the restrictions and restzicted uses and 8 regulations hereinafter specified and provided. Said area so zoned 9 being located in Paradise, California. 10 Beginning at the intersection of Stearns Road with the northwest corner of "E`1 Sobrante Park", 11 per map recorded in Map Book 28 on wages 39 and. 40 in the office of Butte County Recorder, thence 12 east to the northeast corner of said "E1 Sobrante Park" also being the west right-of-?aay line of 13 Pentz Magalia ?iighway; thence northeasterly to the northwest corner of "Pineland Park Subdivision", 14 per map recorded in ~~ap Book 7,5 on pane 38, i_n the Office of Butte County Recorder, thence 15 east to the northeast corner_ of said "Pineland. Containing 11 296 acres, more or less. 12 SECTION 2. The following regulations shall apply in an 13 "R-1" {Single-Family Residential) District: 14 ~ , l USES PER!'~IITTED : 15 a. Single--family dwellings, not including tents or 18 trailers. 17 b. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted uses. 18 c. household pets (but not including livestock, poultry 19 or poisonous reptiles.) 20 2.2 LOT AREA: 21 a. Minimum required area of a lot per dwelling unit 22 shall be no less than eight thousand, one hundred 23 teaenty-five (8,125) square feet. 24 2.3 LOT V7IDTH: ~ a. Golf courses and country clubs. b. Public and quasi-public uses including churches, firehouses, hospitals, pants, playgrounds, schools and public utility buildings. SECTIO~d 3. A11 uses of land within the district not specifically authorized and permitted in Section 2 are prohibited. SECTION 4. In compliance with the provisions of said zoning enabling Ordinance, the same is hereby amended by adding this Ordinance in full. SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the zoning hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided in the Zoning Enabling Ordinance. In compliance with the provisions of the Zoning Enabling Ordinance, this Ordinance shall from and after its effective date become a supplement to and part of .the~Zoning -3- 1 Enabling Ordinance. 2 SECTION 6. For tole mediate preservation of the public 3 peace, health and safety of the area hereinabove described, and. 4 file residents and inhabitants thereof, it is necessary that this 5 ordinance ta]>e effect immediately.
