AN ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 20-30.8 TO
THE BUTTE COUNT' CODE ,T
1 The Board of Supervisors DO ORDAIN as follows:
2 The Butte County Code is hereby amended by adding thereto
3 Section 20-30.8.
4 Section 20-30.8. On all reserve strips as are required in
6 this Chapter, the developer shall construct a barrier along said
6' one-foot reserve strip and shall further deliver to the County a
7 title policy insuring the title of said one-foot strip in the
8 amount of $5,000. Said title policy shall not only insure the
9 County of Butte against the loss as described in the standard
10 title policy, but shall also insure against the existence of
11 unrecorded easements and rights-of-way whether said easements are
12 established by record or by adverse possession or with or by any
13 other method.
14 This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after the
15 date of its adoption, and, before expiration of fifteen {15)
18 days after its passage, it shall be published with the names of
17 the members of the Board of Supervisors voting for and against
18 the same in a newspaper of general circulation in the County
19 of Butte, State of California.
