AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 475, KNOWN AS THE BUTTE
COUNTY ZONING ENABLING ORDINANCE
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, do ordain as follows;
1, Section 13,2 of Ordinance No, 475, as amended by Ordinance
No, 1263, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"13,2 Application for a use permit shall be made to the
Planning Commission in writing on a form prescribed by the
Commission and shall~be accompanied by plot plans necessary
to show details of the proposed use or building, Such
application shall be accompanied by a fee of fifty (5O) dollars to be
deposited in the County General Fund, no part of which shall
be returnable to the applicant,"
2, S.ectian 14,1 of Ordinance No. 475, as amended by Ordinance
No, 1333, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"14.1 This ordinance may be amended to establish detailed
coning districts or to change district boundaries only if an
amendment is requested by either: (a) the Planning Commission,
(b) the Board of Supervisors; or (c) by a petition filed with
the Planning Director signed by sixty (b0) percent or more of the
owners of properties affected by -the proposed amendment and ac-
companied by a fee of one hundred (100) dollars to be deposited in
the County General Fund, no part of which shall be returnable to
the applicant, Any such petition may be withdrawn upon the written
application of a majority of all the persons who signed such
petition at any time pxior to the hearing on the proposed amendment
before the Berard of Supervisors,"
3, Section 16,2 of Ordinance No, 475, as amended by Ordinance No,
1263, is hereby amended to read as follows
"16.2 Application for a variance shall be made to the
Planning Commission in writing on a form prescribed by the
Commission. Such application shall be accompanied by a fee of
fifty (50) dollars, to be deposited in the County General. k'und,
no part of which shall be returnable to the applicant."
That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty {30} days after the
date of its adoption, and before the expiration of fifteen {15} days after
its passage, it shall be once published with the names of the neembers of
the Board of Supervisors voting far and against the same, in~a newspaper
of general circulation published in the County of Butte, State of California.
