The hereinafter described area situate in the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby zoned as an "R-~l" (Single-Family Residential) District, for a . period of ~p ~~ days, and such area shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted uses and regulations hereinafter specified anal provided. Said area so zoned being located in Paradise, California. Cantai ni ng 29fi acres, more or less. SECTTON 2. The following regulations shall apply in an "R-~1" {Single-Faanily Residential) District: 2.1 USES RERMTTTED: a. Single-family dwellings. not including tents or trailers. b. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted uses. c. Household pets (but not including livestocY, naultry or poisonous reptiles.} . 2 EOT A]?,EA a . Golf courses and country clubs. b. Public and quasi-public uses including churches, firehouses, hospitals, parks, playgrounds, schools and public utility buildings. SECTION 3. All uses of land within the district not specifically autharized and permitted in Section 2 are prohibited SECTION ~. In compliance with the provisions of said Zoning Enabling Ordinance, the same is hereby amended by adding this Ordinance in full., SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the zoning hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided in the Zoning Enabling Ordinance. In compliance with the provisions of -3 - 1 2 3 4 s 6 7 8 9 10 Y1 7.2 7.3 14 15 1B 17 18 ~9 20 2~. 22 23 24 2~ 26 the Zoning Enabling Ordinance, this Ordinance shall from and afte its effective date become a supplement to and part of the boning Enabling Ordinance. SECTION 6. For the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety of the area hereinabove described, and the residents and inhabitants thereof, it is necessary that this ordinance take effect immediately. A declaration of the facts constituting the necessity therefore is as follows: The adoption of such Interim Zoning Plan is necessary in the public interest, to maintain the status quo in such district pending the determination of the application far such permanent detail zoning. SECTION 7. This emergency ordinance shall take effect i-~mediately upon its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen (15) r3.ays after its passage shall be published once with the name: of all members of the 33oard of Supervisors voting far and against the same in the Paradise Post a newspaper in general circulation in the County of Butte, State of California. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, on the ~Q~_ day of April _ _, 1973, by the following vote: AYES: supervisors Cameron, Gilman, Ladd, Madigan and Chairman.
