The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California 2 under. and pursuant to..Ordinance No. 475, .as amended, and declaring an emergency, 3 DO ORDAIN, as follows: '~4 SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situated in the County of 5 Butte, State of Cali€ornia, shall be and it is hereby zoned as an "S-2" (.Subur- b ban Residential) District for a period of 90 days and such area shall be sub,~ec 7 to the restrictions and restricted uses and regulations hereinafter specified 8 end provided, Said area so zoned being Located near Oroville, mare particularly 9 described as follows: 10 Being portions of Section ll, 12, l3 & l4, T19N, R4E, MDB&M. The fallowing 4 regulations shall apply in an "S-2" District: 5 2.L USES PERMITTID: 6 a. Single-family dwellings, not including tents or mobile homes. 7 b. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted uses. 8 2.2 Agricultural uses, except livestock, subject to the following 9 requirements: 10 a. For each horse or head of cattle over one year of age, eight 11 thousand one hundred twenty-five (8,),25} square feet. 12 b. For each head of swine over ten (10) weeks of age, eight 13 thousand one hundred twenty-five ($,125) square feet. 14 c. Hospitals,- parks and playgrounds, schools and public uti~.ity buildings. SECTION ~a. All uses of land within the dfstxict not specifically authorized and permitted in Sections 2 and 3 are prohibited. SECTION 5. In compliance with the provisions of said Zoning Enabling Ordinance, the same is hereby amended by adding this Ordinance in full. SECTION 6'. The penalties for the violation of the zoning hereby itaposed within the district shall be as provided in the Zoning Enabling Ordinance, '_In:compliance with the provisions of the Zoning Enabling Ordinance, this Ordinance shall from and after its effective date become a suppliraent to and part of the Zoning Enabling Ordinance. i SECTION 7. This urgency ordinance shah. take effect immediately upon its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen 1 (15) days after its passage shall be published once with the names 2 of all members of the Board of Supervisors voting for and: against 3 thg same in the. The existing A-R Zone permits uses which may be $ incompatible with the developed s~.ngle family dwelling nature of 9 the subject area.. 10 2, The Planning Commission is considering a petition lI requesting rezoning of the subject area into zoning districts more 12 restrictive than the existing districts. i3 3.
