AIQ ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE

The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California under and pursuant to Ordinance Na. X75, as amended,
DO ORDAIN, as follows:
SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situate in the
County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby
zoned an "A-SR" (Agricultural-Suburban Residential) District and
such area shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted uses
and regulations hereinafter specified grid provided, said area sa
zoned being located near Chico, California, and particularly des-
cribed as:
Lots 3, 4 and 5 of McCulley Block" per,map
recorded in Map Baok 4 on Page 23; and Lot

Map Book 5 on Page 27; excepting therefrom
that portion of said Lot 13 lying south of
the fallowing described line; beginning at
a point an the west line of said Lat 13,
said paint located 760.21 ft.-south of the
northwest corner of said Lot 13; thence
~! 67° 19' ~, 423.23 ft.; thence S22° 41' E.,
149.95 ft., to Bidwell avenue.
Containing 15.5 acres, more or less.
SECTION ~. REGULATIONS FOR AN AGRICULTURAL SUBURBAN-
RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT ("A-SR"):
The fallowing regulations sha11 apply to an Agricultural 5uburban-
Residential D~.stri.ct ( "A-SR"}

a. Single Family dwellings, not including tents or
Mobile homes.
b. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted uses.

3 a. For each Norse or head of .cattle over one year of
4 age one half acre:i ~ 21, 780 sq . ft .
6 b. For each head of swine over ten (10) weeks of age, one

10 Minimum required area of lot per dwelling unit shall be no
lI less than 8,125 sq. ft.

22 SECTION 3. The following uses subject to securing a use

]. SECTION 4. All uses of land within. the district not speci-
2 fically authorized and permitted in Sections 2 and 3 are prohibited
3' SECTION 5. Tn compliance with the provisions of said
4 Zoning Enabling Ordinance, the same is hereby amended by adding
6' this Ordinance in full.
g SECTION 6. The penalties for the violation of the zoning
7 he reby imposed within the district shall be as provided in the
8 Zoning Enabling Ordinances In compliance with-cthe_?provisions of
9 the Zoning Enabling Ordinance, this Ordinance shall from and after
10: its effective date become a supplement to and part of the Zoning
11'. Enabling Ordinance.
12 SECTIOi~7 &. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby de--
l~. dared to be in full farce and effect from and after thirty (30)
~:4 days after the date of its passage; and before the expiration of
lb. fifteen (I5) days after its passage this Ordinance shall be
I8 published once with the names of the members of the Board voting
17 for and against it in the Chico Enterprise a newspaper
I8 published in the County of Butte, State of California.
19' PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
20` Countyoof Butte, State of California, this 22nd day of May
21 1973, by the following vote:
