AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF SUPFAVISORS OF THE~COUNTY OF
BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA TO AMEND SECTION 2(c) OF ORDINANCE
N0. 1 4 AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, CALLING AND PROVIDING
FOR A SPECIAL COUNTY CHARTER ELECTION FOR THE PURPOSE OF
SUBMITTING TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF SAID COUNTY THE PROPOSITION=.
OF WHETHEE OR NOT CERTAIN SPECIFIED AMENDMENTS OF THE CHARTER OF THE
COIIIdTY OF BUTTE SHOULD BE APPROVED; FIXING THE DATE OF SAID
ELECTION AND THE i~iANNER OF HOLDING THE SAME AND THE PROCEDURE
FOR VOTING FOA OA AGAINST SAID AMENDMENTS; PROVIDING FOR NOTICE
OF SAID ELECTION; AND CONSOLIDATING SAID SPECIAL COUNTY CHARTER

Pursuant to Gavernment Code, Section 23731, the Clerk is
hereby ordered to have this ordinance published five ~,~) times on
five ~5) different days, prior to the herein set election, in the
following named newspaper, to wit: Oroville Piercury and Chico
Enterprise (which. the Board hereby finds and declares to be a daily
newspaper of general circulation printed, published and circulated
in the county.)
No notices of the election hereby called, other than those
specified in Section 3 of Ordinance #137 need be given.
Pursuant to Government Cade, Section 2123, this ordinance
shall take effect immediately,
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors
