The Baard of Supervisors of the County of Butte DO ORDAIN
as follows:
Section la Section 21-57 is hereby added to the Butte
County Code to read as follows:
Section 21-57o Appointment of_Hearing Officer; Compensat on,
The Board of Supervisors may appoint one or more assessment hearing
officers pursuant to Article l07 of Chapter. 1, Part 3, Division 1
of the Revenue and Taxation Code (commencing with Section 1b36).
Such assessment hearing officer or officers shall conduct hearings
at places in Butte Caunty designated by the Board of Supervisors
and shall be compensated at the same rates specified in Section.
21-5b for Assessment Appeals.Board members.
Section 20 This ordinance shall take effect thirty {30)
days after the date of its adoption, and before the expiration of
fifteen {15) days after its passage, it shall be published with t
names of the members voting for and against the same, in the
Oroville Mercury , a newspaper published in the County
of $utte, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte this 19th day of June, 19730
