HomeMy WebLinkAbout1363' ORDINANCE NO. ~~~ AN INTERIM ORDINANCE AMENDING COUNTY ORDINANCE 925, CONSOLIDATING "R-1" (SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) 1 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of 2 California, under and pursuant to Ordinance No. 475, as amended, 3 and declaring an emergency, DO ORDAIN as follows: ~ SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situate in the ~ County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby 6 zoned as an "R-1" (Single-Family Residential) District, for a ? period of ~T62~ days, and such area shall be subject to the $ restrictions and restricted uses and regulations hereinafter 9 specified and provided. All uses of land within the district not 20 specifically authorized and permitted in Section 2 are prohibited. 2I SECTION 4. In compliance with the provisions of said 22 Zoning Enabling Ordinance, the sane is hereby amended by adding 23 this Ordinance in full. 24 SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the Zoning 2°5 hereby imposed within the distract shall be as provided in the 26 Zoning Enabling Ordinance. In compliance with''~he provisions of -3- 1 2 3 4 6 7 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 1S 19 20 21 22 23 24 2~ 26 the Zoning Enabling Ordinance, this Ordinance shall from and after Flits effective date become a supplement to and part of the Zoning Enabling Ordinance. SECTION 6. For the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety of the area hereinabove described, and the residents and inhabitants thereof, it is necessary that this ordinance take effect immediately, A.declaration of the facts constituting the necessity therefore is as follows: The adoption of such znterim Zoning Plan is necessary in the public interest, to rstaintain the status quo inF such district pending the determination of the application for such permanent detail zoning. SECTION 7.
