HomeMy WebLinkAbout14-051 I r(/f JJ,'l/1�1�� 1�r Jrr�. �/�l/��o%f p! l ��� l��Jl�%�J%t�/�����//r/,��� it ,�rrl� J ,�Jf � /l�, / �� �,�J / f JJ�J�ll1 /,r���✓%li - t, �J'� d(/�� ,, ,, r, 1,(;/J, � ,��/� l ,I � i I�', ), � n, �%, J'•, � � J�% /� ,,,J�J/�, /��J �fr�/�J„i////.,✓/�//,ii�,�,/,�.�, ,,/1r/�J�������li,,,��%ir//��%�//r��/J i���,fuf�r!t�/, ,/�i f / � i����//���i�,�.J%a ;l' l r..r./,,,,/13„//rCl,m,�/J �,� �J/!i/.,/ fi J,,( r (/ J� I� il�c.�,l!J if/„/�i��jGir,r�.✓�liit..,i/ 1 Resolution No. 14-051 RESOLUTION F THE BUTTE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS IN SUPPORT OF THE NORTHERNT VALLEY INTEGRATED REGI L WATER MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR THE COUNTIES F BUTTE, COLUSA, GLENN, SHASTA, SUTTER TEHAMA ADOPTEDY THE V BOARD ON APRIL 14, 2014 WHEREAS, on March 2 , 2010, the Board of Supervisors authorized staff to work in cooperation with the other counties to secure funding for the Northern Sacramento Valley Integrated Regional Water Management planning effort; and WHEREAS, on September 14, 2010, the Board of Supervisors authorized an application for funding under Proposition 84 for the development of the Northern Sacramento Valley Integrated Regional Water Management Plan in cooperation with the Counties of Colusa, Tenn, Tehama, Shasta and Sutter; and WHEREAS, on September 28, 201 ,t e Board of Supervisors approved resolution regarding the appointment and tenure of the Butte county appointments to the Northern Sacramento Valley Integrated Regional Water Management Governing Board (NSV Board); and WHEREAS, on April 26, 2011, the Board of Supervisors authorized appointments to the Northern Sacramento Valley Integrated Regional Water Management Plan Technical Advisory Committee (NSV TAC); and WHEREAS, on September 1 , 2011, the Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to accept funding under the Proposition 84 application for the development of an Integrated Regional Water Management Plan; and WHEREAS, through the NSV Board and NSV TAC working in cooperation with the consulting firm West `lost Associates in a transparent and public process to develop the public draft Northern Sacramento Valley Integrated Regional Water Management Plan; and WHEREAS, the public draft of the Northern Sacramento Valley Integrated Regional Water Management Plan was approved by the NSV Board on September 9, 2013 and re-released for further public input and support; and WHEREAS, on October 8, 2013, the Butte County Board of Supervisors unanimously supported Resolution 13-136, in support of the September 9, 2013 public draft of the Northern Sacramento Valley Integrated Regional Water Management Plan; and WHEREAS, the final plan adopted by the NSV Board on April 14, 2014 includes some revised language in response to public comment, particularly in Chapter 4® NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Butte County Board of Supervisors is in support of the final Northern Sacramento Valley Integrated Regional Water Management Plan adopted by the NSV Board on April 14, 2014.
