WHEREAS, the County of Butte recognizes the need to participate in programs that enhance the
overall mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery capabilities of local emergency response agencies
from natural and manmade hazards: and

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED thiat the Butte County Emergency Services Officer sh
apply for the funds available from the IFY 2014 Emergency Management Performance Grant Program; an,

CountyDeputy Chief Administrative Officers of Butte County are hereby desiig�nated as authorized representatives of
the Butte for the purpose of receipt,processing, w , d coordination of all and requirements
necessary to obtain the assistance provided b the FY 2014 EmergencyPerformance
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 20th day of May, 2014 by the
