Resolution No. 14-069
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY F BUTTE
AUTHORIZING AND PROVIDING F THE INCURRENCE OF INDEBTEDNESS
FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING A PORTION F THE COST OF
CONSTRUCTING T E CLERK-RECORDER, ELECTIONS, AND HALL OF
RECORDSFACILITY TO SERVE ANA AREA LAWFULLY WITHIN ITS
JURISDICTION TO SERVE
(HALL OF RECORDS PROJECT)
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the County of Butte (Association) to raise a portion of the cost of
such undertaking by the issuance of Certificates of Participation in the principal amount of$8,000,000 pursuant
to the provisions of California Government Code Section 25371; and
WHEREAS, the Association has been approved for financing in the amount of $8,000,000
under the United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development (Government) Community Facilities
Direct Loan Program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby
adopts the attached Government provided "Loan Resolution", USDA Form RD 1942-47, pertaining to the
approved financing in the amount of$8,000,000.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly introduced, passed and adopted at
a regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, held on June 10, 2014, by the following
vote:
AYES:Supervisors Connelly, Wahl, Dirk, Lambert and Chair Teeter
