A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF BUTTE,STATE OF CALIFORNIA
AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL OF AN APPLICATION FOR GRANT FUNDS FOR THE STATE CALIFORNIA
TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION,2014 AERONAUTICS ACQUISITION AND
DEVELOPMENT(A&D) PROGRAM GRANT FUNDS
WHEREAS,the California Transportation Commission has adopted the 2014-2015 Aeronautics Program for airport
improvement projects; and
WHEREAS, the California Department of Transportation, pursuant to the Public Utilities Code and California Aid
to Airports Program (CAAP) regulations, requires local government approval authorizing the application and certifying the
availability of 10%matching funds, a sum from other than state or federal sources; and
WHEREAS,the County of Butte is submitting an application for an update to the county-wide Butte County Airport
Land Use Compatibility Plan(including Chico Municipal Airport,Oroville Municipal Airport, Ranchaero Airport and Paradise
Airport), which is included in the 2014-2015 Aeronautics Program.
NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby:
1. Authorizes filing the application for the project in the 2014-2015 Aeronautics Program;
2. Authorizes accepting the allocation of funds for the project to update to the county-wide Butte County Airport Land
Use Compatibility Airport(including Chico Municipal Airport, Oroville Municipal Airport, Ranchaero Airport and
Paradise Airport);
3. Certifies the availability of the County's ten percent(10%) matching funds;
4. Authorizes execution of the Grant Agreement; and
5. Authorizes the Director of Development Services to sign any documents required to apply for and accept these subject
funds on behalf of the County of Butte.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 9th day of December, 2014 by the following vote
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, WahI, Kirk, Lambert and Chair Teeter
