HomeMy WebLinkAbout1417ORDINANCE NO. 127 AN ORDINANCE ZONTNO A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AN "RT-1" (I'~IINI~QUi~'!-- DENSITY RESIDENTIAL-TRAILER) DISTRICT 1 The Baard of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of 2 California, antler and pursuant to Ordinance No. 475 of said 3 County, being the Zoning Enabling Ordinance of said County, as 4 amended, DO ORDAIN as follows: 6 SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area, situated in 8 the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is ? hereby zoned as an ".RT-~." ~ (^~inimum-Density Residential-Trailer) 8 District, and such area shall b~ subject to the restrictions g and restricted uses and regulations hereinafter specified and l0 r~rovided. Said area so zoned being located near Oroville, Z1 'California, more~particularly._described as .follows: 12' Being a portion of ~31ock 15 , "Villa ~rerona" , Baer map recorded as wall map No . 12 , in the Office a'f 13; Butte County Recorder, particularly described as: 14 Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 1 of said Block 15, being the centerline intersection 15 ` of V-C Road and Oak Knoll Cti? ° ay, thence S 89 56 E, 350 ft.; thence south parallel with the east 16 line of said Lot 1, 250 ft.; thence S 89° 56' E, 210 ft . ; thence S 16 ° 47' C+7, 430 ft . ; thence 17 N $9° 56' C~, 437.94 ft. to the centerline of 18 V-C Road; thence north along the west line of said Lot 1, 660 ft. to the point of beginning. 29 Containing 5.8 acres, more ar less. 2~ SECTION 2. The floor area within the Mobile Home sha11 not be less than 500 square feet. 2. All sanitary facilities shall conform to the State Statutes and regulations and to 1oca1 requirements of the Health Department; and 3. All electrical installations shall conform to State Statutes and regulations. c, Accessory Buildings pertinent to the permitted uses. d. Household pets, but not including livestock, poultry ', or poisonous reptiles. 2.2 LOT AREA REQUIRED: - Minimum lot area of~a lot per dwelling unit or a Mobile Hame unit shall be no less than eight thousand on hundred and twenty-five (8,125} square feet excepting where public sewage disposal service is provided, a minimum of six thousand five hundred (6,500) square feet may be allowed for inside lots with a minimum of seven thousand, five hundred (7,500) square feet for corner lots. 2.3 LOT WIDTH REQUIRED: Minimum lot width shall not be less than sixty-five (65) feet. 2.4 FRONT YARD REQUIRED: Minimum front yard shall be fifty (50) f eet from the denterline of the road, except ~x~here the road is _~ 1 2 3 4 5 $' 7 8: 9 10 ~.1 12 13 I4 15 16 1T 18 is 20 2I 22 23 24 2b 28 classified by the County as a Federal Aid Secondary Road the minimum building setback requirement shall be fifty-five (55) feet from the centerline of the road. 2.5 SIDE YARD REQUIRED: Minimum side yard shall not be less than five (5} fe 2.6 THE FOLLOWING USES SUBJECT TO SECURING A USE PERMIT IN EACH CASE: a. Golf courses and country clubs. b. Public and quasi_public uses including churches, firehouses, hospitals, ?arks and playgrounds, schools and public utility buildings. SECTION 3. All uses of land within .the district not specifically authorized and permitted in Section 2 are prohibited. E SECTION 4. In compliance with the provision$ of the Zoning Enabling Ordinance, the same is hereby amended by adding ..this Ordinance in full. SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the zoning °hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided in the Zona_ng Enabling Ordinance. In compliance with the provisions of the Zoning Enabling Ordinance, this Ordinance shall from and after its effective date become a supplement to ar_d part of the boning Enabling Ordinance. SECTION 6.
