RESOLUTION IN RECOGNITION OF LISA MCGIBBON
UPON RETIREMENT FROM
BUTTE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF EMPLOYMENT AND SOCIAL SERVICES
WHEREAS, Lisa McGibbon, Social Worker of the Department of Employment and Social Services
(DESS), has announced her retirement as of December 26, 2014; and
WHEREAS, Lisa began her career with the County of Butte on November 1, 1979 as a Clerk I and
successfully moved up the career ladder to Eligibility Worker I and II, then to Social Worker I and II, and to her
current responsible position as an Adult Services Social Worker since 1990; and
WHEREAS, Lisa has devoted her career to assuring that elders and disabled persons in our
community were served in a caring and professional manner; and
WHEREAS, Lisa has worked diligently for the past 35 years and two months in the best interest of
Butte County and its citizens, earning the respect and confidence of her supervisors and peers; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board, on its own behalf and on behalf of the citizens
of Butte County, extends its appreciation for your many years of dedicated service.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 9th day of December 2014 by the
following vote:
