AN INTERIM ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY
OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, A "P-Q" (PUBLIC-QUASI-
PUBLIC) DISTRICT
1 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
2 California, under and pursuant to Ordinance No. 475, as amended,

~ and declaring an emergency, DOES OP.DAIN as follows:
4 SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situated in
5 the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is
6 hereby zoned a "P-Q" {P~.blic-Quasi-Public) District for a period
7 of i20 days, and such area shall be subject to the res-
8 tractions and restricted uses and regulations hereinafter specifie
~ and provided. Said area so zoned being located in Paradise, more
14 particularly described as follows:
lI Being a portion of the northwest ~ of Sec 23, T22N
12 R3E, MDB&M, commencing at tine northwest corner of
the southwest ~ of the northwest ~ of said Sec 23;
13 thence east along the eighth section line 527 ft.
to the true paint of beginning; thence continuing
14 east 218 ft . ; thence south, 470 ft . ; thence west 218
ft.; thence north 470 ft. to the point of beginning,
18 containing 2.35 acres, more or less.

2I SECTION 2. REGULATIONS FOR A "P--Q" (PUBLIC-QUASI-
22 PUBLIC) DISTRICT:
23 The following regulations shall apply in a "P -Q"
24 {Public-Quasi--Public) District:

b. Public parks.
c. Public _playgrounds.
d. Publicly owned buildings and land.
e. Public recreational areas.
f. Public hospitals.
2.2 MINIMUM LOT AREA:
None .
2.3 MINIMUM LOT WIDTH:
None.
2.4 MINIMUM SIDE YARD:
None, except where the side of a lot abuts upon the
side of a lot; in a "R" District, in which case the
abutting side yard shall be not less than five {5)
feet, and except where the side yard on the street
side of a corner lot abuts on a "R" District, in
which case the side yard on the street side shah.

2.5 MINIMUM FRONT YARD:

SECTION 3. All uses of land within the District not
specifically authorized or permitted under Section 2, are pro-
hibited,
SECTION 4, In compliance with the provisions of said
Zoning Enabling Ordinance, the same is hereby amended by adding
this Ordinance in full.
SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the
zoning hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided in
the Zoning Enabling Ordinance, In compliance with the provisions
of the Zoning Enabling Ordinance, this Ordinance shall from and,
after its effective date become a supplement to and part of the
Zoning Enabling Ordinance.
SECTION 6. This urgency ordinance sha11 take effect
immediately upon its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen
(15) days after its passage shall~be published once with the
'names of all members of the Board of Supervisors voting for and
against the same in the Paradise Post a newspaper in
general circulation in the County of Butte, State of California.
The facts constituting the urgenpy on which this ordinance is
based are;
1. A petition for permanent rezoning will soon be con-
sidered by the Planning Commission.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, on the 8th day of
