The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,-State of . ... California, under and pursuant to Ordinance No. 475 of said County, being the Zoning Enabling Ordinance of said County, as amended, DOES ORDAIN as follows: SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area, situated in 'the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby zoned as an "AR-MH" (Agricultural Residential-Mobile ~-iome) District, and such area shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted uses and regulations hereinafter specified and provided. Said area so zoned being located east of Oroville, in the unincor-- pouted area of Butte County, more particularly described as follows: All of Lots 173, 174, I75 & 178 of "Orovilie Wyan- dotte Fruitlands Unit No. 5", per map filed in the Office of Butte County Recorder, in Map Book 8 on Page 37A, containing 75 acres, more or less. . SECTION Z. REGULATIDNS FOR AN "AR-MH" DISTRICT: The following regulations sha11 apply in an "AR-MH" Dis trio: 2.1 USES PERMITTED: a. Single-family dwellings. b. Statutes and regulations and to local require- ments of the Butte County Health Department. 3} All electrical installations shall conform to State Statutes and regulations as admin~.stered by the Building Division of the Butte County Public [forks Department. c. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted uses. d. Agricultural uses. e. Livestock, subject to requirements as follows: 1} Minimuan. lot area to be devoted to residential use shall be not less than eight thousand, one hundred twenty-five (8,125) square feet. 2) Exclusive of the area devoted to the residential use, the following lot or parcel areas shall be required for each animal raised or kept on the premises: a) For each horse or head of cattle over ona (1} year of age - eight thousand one hundred twenty-five (.8,125) square feet. b) For each head of swine aver ten (10} weeks of age - eight thousand, one hundred twenty- five ( 8 ,125 ) square feet . c} For each head of sheep or goats -- two ~I thousand (2,000) square feet. -2 - 11 2 3 4 5 6 7 S s io 3.]. 12 13 ~.4 35 16 II 17 18' 19 20 2I 22 23 84 26 2.2 THE FOLLOWING USES SUBJECT TO SECURING A USE PERMIT IN EACH CASE• .. a. duplex dwellings and multiple-family dwellings. b. Golf :bourses, country clubs, if permitted, would permit accessory uses such as driving range, pra shop, cocktail bar, restaurant. c. Public and quasi-public uses including churches, firehouses, hospitals, parks and playgrounds, schools and public utility buildings. d. Commercial poultry farming and livestock farming. ~ e. Veterinary clinics, outpatient. f. Nurseries and plant gardens. 2.3 LOT AREA REQUIRED: Minimum required area of lot per dwelling unit shall be not less than eight thousand, one hundred twenty-five square feet. 2.4 LOT WIDTH REQUIRED: Minimum lot width shall be not less than sixty-five (65) feet. 2.5 FRONT YARD REQUIRED: Minimum front yard shall be fifty (50} feet from the centerline of the read, except where the road is classified by the County as a Federal Aid Secondary Road, the minimum building setback requirement shall be fifty-five (55} feet froze the centerline of the road. 2.6 SIDE YARD REQUIRED: Minimum side yard-shall not be less than five (5} feet. SECTION 3. SECTION 4. In compliance with the provisions of the Zoning Enabling Ordinance, the same is hereby amended by adding this Ordinance in full. SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the zoning hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided in the Zoning Enabling Ordinance. In compliance with the provisions of the Zoning Enabling Ordinance, this ordinance shall from and after its effective date become a supplement to and part of the Zoning Enabling Ordinance. SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be and it is hereby declared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30) days after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of f if teen (15 ) day s after its pas sage, thi s ordinance shall be pub- lished once with the names of the members of the Berard of Super- visors voting for and against it in the __OroyiJ.b Mercury __ ,_ a newspaper published in the County of Butte, State of Cal ifornia~.
