ORDINANCE NO. 1459 AN INTERIM ORDINANCE BONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AN "RT-1" (MIIQIMUM-DENSITY RESIDENTIAL-TRAILER} DISTRICT ]. 2 3 4 5 B 7 8 91 1Q I1 12 33 14 15 IB 17 18 19 20 2~. 22 23 24 2S 26 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California under and pursuant to Ordinance No. 475, as amended, and declaring an emergency, DOES ORDAIN, as follows: SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situated in the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby zoned as an "RT-1" (Minimum-Density Residential-Trailer) District far a;:period of 120 days, and such area shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted uses and regulations hereinafter specified and provided. The following regulations shall apply in an "RT-1" (~~inimum-Density Residwntial-Trailer} District: 2.1 USES ~ERMYTTED: a. Single-family dwellings. b . ~~iobile Homes to house one family, when such Mobile I, Home is the only housing facility located on the premises, provided the following conditions are conformed to: 1. The floor area within the mobile home shall not be less than 500 square feet. 2. Ali sanitary facilities shall conform to the State Statutes and regulations and to local requirements of the Health Department; and 3. All electrical installations shall conform to State Statutes and regulations. c. Accessory Buildings pertinent to the permitted uses. d. Household pots, but not including livestock, poultry or poisonous reptiles. 2.2 •LOT AREA REQUIRED: Minimu~t lot area of a lot per dwelling unit or a mobile home unit shall be no lass than eight thousand one hundred and twenty-five (8,125) square feet excepting where public sewage disposal service is provided, a minimum of six thousand five hundred (6,500) square feet may be allowed for inside lots with a minimum of s6ven thousand, fiv~ hundred {7,500} square feet for cornea lots. -4- 2 3 4 fi 8 7 8 9~ 14 Il 12 13 l4 15 18 . 17 18 19 20 2i 22 23 24 25 26 2.3 LOT WIDTH REQUIRED: Minimum lot width shall net be Less than sixty-five (65 } 'feet . 2.4 FRONT YARD REQUIRED: Minimum front yard shall be fifty {5Q} feet from thz centerline of the road, except where the road is classified by the County as a Federal Aid Secondary Road the minimum building setback requirem©nt shall be fifty-five (55} felt from the centerline of the road . Public and quasi-public uses including chruches, firehouses, hospitals, parks and playgrounds, schools and public utility buildings. ~.:. SECTION 3. All uses of land within the district not specifically authorized and permitted in Sections 2 and 3 are prohibited. SECTIOi~T 4. in compliance with the provisions of said zoning Enabling Ordinance, the same is hereby amended by adding this Ordinance in full. SECTION 5. In compliance with the Provisions of the Zoning Enabling Ordinance, this Ordinance shall from anr~ after its effective date become a supplen~ent to and part of the Zoning Enabling Ordinance. SECTfON 7. This urgency ordinance shall ,takes Affect immediately upon its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen (15? days after its passage shall be published once with the names of the members of the Board of Supervisors voting for and against the same in the Chico En~erpxise-Record , a newspaper in general circulation in the County of Butte, State of California The facts constituting the urgency on which this Ordinance is based are: 1. That the area is presently under study for rezoning. 2 .
