HomeMy WebLinkAbout1468ORDINANCE NO. 145$ AN INTERIM ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE COU1~1~'~ OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AN "RT-l" {MINIMUM-DENSITY RESIDENTIAL-TRAILER) DISTRICT 1 2 I 3. 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 l5 16 17 18 19 20 27. 22 2~ 24 26 28 The Board of Supervisors of the County. of Butte, State of California under and pursuant to Ordinance No, 475, -as amended, and declaring an emergency, DOES ORDAIN, as follows: SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situated in the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby zoned as an "RT-1" {Minimum-Density Residential-Trailer) District for a period of 120 days, and such area shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted uses and regulations hereinafter specified and provided. Said area so zoned being located in Paradise and more particularly described as follows: Being a portion of the S~ of Sec 1, T22N, R3E, MDB&M, being all of Lots 34, 35 & 44 o.f said Section des- cribed as beginning at the intersection of. Clark Rd. and Warren Rd.; thence west along Warren Rd. to Moore Rd.; thence north along Moore Rd. to a point located 65:1 ft. south of the center of said Sec 1; theme from said point east,, parallel with the east west centerline of said Sec 1, 950 ft., more or less, to Clark Rd.; thence southwesterly along Clark Rd. to the point of beginning. Containing 13.26 acres, more or less. SECTION 2. The following regulations shall apply in an "RT-1" {Minimum-Density Residential-Trailer) District: 2.l USES PERMITTED: a. Single-family dwellings. b. Mobile Homes to house one family, when such Mobile Home is the only housing facility located on the premises, provided the following conditions are conformed to: /~Ylv ~ 1 ~.. The floor area within the mobile home shall not 2 be less than 500 square feet, _. 3 2. All sanitary facilities sh-all conform to e ¢ State Statute`s and regulations and to local 5 requirements of the Health Department; and 6 3. All electrical installations shall conform to 7 State Statutes and regulations. 8 c. Accessory Buildings pertinent to the permitted uses . 9 d. Household pets, but not including livestock, poultry 10 or poisonous reptiles. Golf courses and country clubs . b. Public and quasi.-public uses including churches, firehouses, hospitals, parks and playgrounds, schools and public utility buildings. SECTION 3. All uses of land within the district not specifically authorised and permitted in Sections 2 and 3 are prohibited. SECTION 4. In compliance with the provisions of said Zoning Enabling Ordinance, the same is he=eby amended by adding this ordinance in full. SECTION S. The penalties for the violation of the coning hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided.. in the Zoning E1~}~bling Ordinance, this Ordinance shall from and after its effective date become a supplement to and part of the Zoning Enabling Ordinance. SECTION 7. That the area is presently under study for rezoning, 2, To be more consistent with the present land use.
