AN ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF
BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFOPNIA, AN "A-2Q" (AGRICULTURAL)
DISTRICT, PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE N0. X75.
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State
of Cali-fornia, under and -pursunat -to Ordinance No. 475 of said-
County being the Zoning Enabling Ordinance, DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. The her?inafter described area, situated in
the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is
hereby zoned as an "A-20" (Agricultural} District, and such area
shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted.-uses and re-
gulations herYinafter specified and provided. Said area so zoned
being located west of Chica, more particularly described as:
(a} Beginning at the intersection of Cosby Avenue and
Crouch Ava; then easterly along Cosby Ave. to Lon4 Pine
Ave; thence south along Lone Pine Ave. to Rodgers Ave;
thence easterly along Rodgers Ave . to Secand Ave; thpnc
southwesterly along Second Ave, to Elk A.ve; thence west
along Elk Ave. to Lone Pine Ave; thence southerl~_-along
Lone P~.ne Ave , to Crouch Ave; thence northwesterly aloe
Crouch Ave . to the point of beginning.
fib} Beginning at the narthwQst corner of Lot l8 of "Joh
Crouch Subdivision" per map recorded in Baok 6 on Page
81 of the~Butte County Recorder and also being on the
south right-~of-way line of Chico River Poad; thence souk
along the west boundary of Lots 18, l9, 20, and 21 of
said Sub to the southwest corner of said Lot 21; thence
east to the southeast corner of said Lot 21; thence
southeast along the east boundary .of Lots 22, 23, 24,
2S, & 26 of said Sub and along Taffe Avenue to the
southeast corner of said Lot 26; thence westerly along
the southerly boundary of said Lot 26; to the southwest
corner of Lot 26,-also being the sautheast corner of
Lot 12 of .the "Alberton Traci" per map recorded in Book
1 on Page 9 of the Butte County Recorder; thence along
the southerly boundary of said Lot 12 to the southwest
corner of said Lot 12; thence north along the west line
of Lots 12, 10, 9, and 4 of said "Alberton Tract" to
the south right-of-way .

SECTION 2 . ~?EGU~,ATIONS FOR AN "A--24 " his trict:

The following regulations shall apply to an "A--20"

2.1 USES PERMITTED:

a. Single-family dwellings, including mobile homes, j
8
b. General agriculture farming, horticulture, commercial
9
livestock, poultry production, growing and harvesting
10
forestry products, warehousing and storage.

c. Accessory buildings and uses pertinent to th.° per-
12
mitted uses, including, agricultural processing plants.

d. Housing facilities (including trailers) to accommodate
14
only employees and their families employed by the
15
ownmr or operator of the premises; and provided fur-

then that such housing facility, shall be considered
17
accessory to the main building and shall conform to
18
the provisions pertaining to required yard and open
19
space for dwellings.

e. Mining, quarrying, commercial excavation and wood
21
processing plants.

f . Hunting and. fishing camps , including those which
23
accommodate recreational vehicles and travel trailers
24
providing that said recreational vehicles and travel
26
trailers shah. not be used for year-round occupancy.

Minimum lot area shah. not be less than twenty (24}

2.3 FRONT YARD SETBACK:
Minimum front yard setback shall be fifty {50} feet
from the centerline of the road, except where the
road is classified by the County as a Federal Aid
Secondary Road, the minimum building setback require-
ments shall bs fifty-five {5S} feet from the center-
line of the road,
SECTION 3 . OTHER USES ,
All uses of land not specifically authorized and permitted
under Section 2 are prohibited within the district.
SECTION 4. Tn compliance with the provisions of the
Zoning Enabling Ordinance, this Ordinance shall from and after
its effective date become a supplement to and part of the Zoning
Enabling Ordinance.
SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the zoning
hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided in the
Zoning Enabling prdinance .
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be and it is hereby
declared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty
{3fl} days after the date of its passage, and before the expiration
of fifteen {l5} days after its passage, this ordinance shall be
published once with the names of the members of the Board of
Supwrvisors voting for and against the same in the
