AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1438, ZONING A
PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORN TA,
AN "A-40" (AGRICULTURAL) DISTRICT,
Tha Board of Supervisors of the Co~in.ty of Butte, State of
California, under and pursuant to Ordinance No. 475 of said County,
being the Zoning Enabling Ordinance as amended, DOES ORDAIN as
follows:
Ordinance No. 1438 is hereby amended to include the
following which is located west of Chico particularly described asp
Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 26 of "Morehead
Ranch Sub No. 2" per map recorded in Book 9 Page 14 of
the Butte County Recorder; also being on the centerline
of Big Chico Creek; thence west along. the centerline of
Big Chico Creek to the Sacramento River and the Butte
County Line; thence south and east along the Butte County
Line to Goodspeed Watt Road; thence north along Goodspeed
Watt Rd. and Dayton Rd. to Elk Ave; thence west along Elk
Ave. to Lone Pine Ave; thence southerly along Lone Pine
Ave, to the south rightrof-way line of Crouch Ave; thence
west along said right-of-way line to the most easterly
corner of Lot 56 of "John Crouch Sub division" per map
recorded in Book & Page 81 of the Butte County Recorder;
thence southwesterly to the southern-most corner of Lot ',
55 of said subdivision; thence westerly along the southerl
boundaries of Lots 55 and 26 of said Sub to the southwest
corner of said Sub, also being the southwest earner of
Lot 12 of the "Alberton Tract" per ma~a recorded in Book
1 Page 9 of the Butte County Recorder; thence north along
the west boundary of said "Alberton Tract" to Chico P.iver
Road; thence northeasterly along Chico River Road to the
west right-af-way line of Marmore Road; thence northerly
along said right--of-way line and its extension to the
north line of that property formerly: known as the Sacra-
mento Northern Railroad right-~of-way; thence easterly
along said rightrof--way to the southeast corner of Lot
50 of "Morehead Ranch Sub No. 2"; thence north along the
west lines of Lots 50'.,. 42 ,. 33., and 26 of said. Sub to the
point of beginning, Also all of Section 27 T20N R1E.
Containing 8a square miles, moxe or less.
That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days
after the date of its adoption, and before the expiration of
fifteen (15) days after its passage, it sha11 be published with

the names of the members voting for and agaznst the same, in the
Chico Enterprise-Record , a newspaper published in the
County of Butte, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Berard of Supervisors of the
County of Butte , State of California, on the 17th day of
September , 19 7~ , by the following vote
AYES: Supervisors Camerozz, Gilman, Zadd, McKillop and Chairman Madigan

ABSENT: None
