RESOLUTION TO CHANGE THE TITLE OF THE BUTTE COUNTY JUVENILE HALL EDUCATION, RECREATION,AND SPECIAL
PROJECTS FUND
WHEREAS, in 1992 the Board of Supervisors passed Butte County Resolution No. 92-47 which established a
Recreation, Education, and Special Projects fund for the Butte County Juvenile Hall; and
WHEREAS, in 2001 the Board of Supervisors passed Butte County Resolution No. 01-088 approving Welfare and
Institutions Code 873 to provide detailed operational guidelines for the Fund; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Probation Department to change the title to Ward Welfare Fund to reflect the
title referenced in Welfare and Institutions Code 873.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Butte County Board of Supervisors approve changing the title of the
Recreation, Education, and Special Projects Fund to the Ward Welfare Fund.
