RESOLUTION IN RECOGNITION OF TRACY CONLEY
UPON RETIREMENT FROM
BUTTE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF EMPLOYMENT AND SOCIAL SERVICES
WHEREAS, Tracy Conley, Supervisor, Employment and Eligibility, of the Department of Employment
and Social Services (DESS), has announced her retirement as of December 30, 2014.
WHEREAS, Tracy began her career with the County of Butte on January 2, 1990 as a Typist Clerk and
within one year she was promoted to Eligibility Worker L Thereafter she served in various positions of
increasing responsibility in the Employment and Eligibility Services programs, including more than 8 years as a
Supervisor, Employment and Eligibility; and
WHEREAS, Tracy provided excellent leadership, strong customer service and thoughtful planning
within the department and in the community to encourage and model a spirit of cooperation, collaboration and
excellent customer service; and
WHEREAS, Tracey has displayed a commitment to the department and desire to train and educate
both new and experienced workers to the different Federal, State and Local regulations and to follow county
policies; and
WHEREAS, Tracy has devoted her career to improving the lives of children, families and seniors in our
community through her tireless focus on meeting their needs through her work; and
WHEREAS, Tracy's new wish is to re-locate to the coast to be close to her son and spend time creating
new memories with family; and
WHEREAS, Tracy has worked diligently for the past 25 years in the best interest of Butte County and
its citizens, earning the respect and confidence of the Department of Employment and Social Services, her
employees, and many county, state and community partners; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board, on its own behalf and on behalf of the citizens
of Butte County, extends its appreciation for your many years of dedicated service.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 27th day of January by the following
vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Wahl, Kirk, Lambert and Chair Teet?r.
NOES: None
