Resolution No. 15-026
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING BUTTE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
TO SUBMIT A GRANT PROPOSAL AND ENTER INTO RESULTING GRANT AGREEMENT
WHEREAS the Butte County Department of Behavioral Health (BCDBH) desires to participate in the Mentally III
Offender Crime Reduction Grant program,funded through the State Recidivism Reduction Fund and administered by the
Board of State and Community Corrections (hereafter referred to as BSCC).
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Dorian Kittrell, as the Director of BCDBH, is authorized on behalf of the
Butte County Board of Supervisors to submit the grant proposal for this funding and sign the Grant Agreement with the
BSCC, including any amendments thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that state grant fund received hereunder shall not be used to supplant expenditures
controlled by this body.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that BCDBH agrees to provide all matching funds required for said project and abide
by the statutes and regulations governing the State Grants Program (including General Terms and Condition 610) as well
as the terms and conditions of the Grant Agreement as set forth by the BSCC.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 24th day of March, 2015 by the
following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Wahl, Kirk, Lambert and Chair Teeter
