RESOLUTION CONCERNING CHANGES IN MAINTAINED MILEAGE
WITHIN BUTTE COUNTY
WHEREAS, Section 2121 of the Streets & Highway Code provides that in May of each year County shall
submit to the Department of Transportation, State of California, any additions or exclusions from its mileage
of maintained County roads, specifying the termini and mileage of each route added or excluded; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Transportation, State of California, in 2014 certified to the State
Controller that the total mileage of maintained County roads in Butte County was 1,299.998 miles; and
WHEREAS, Butte County now finds that the total mileage of maintained County roads is 1,299.205
miles;
NOW AND THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the total mileage of maintained County roads decreased
to 1,299.205 miles.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 7th day of April, 2015 by the
following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Wahl, Kirk, Lambert and Chair Teeter
