Resolution No. 15-075
Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program Resolution
WHEREAS the County of Butte desires to participate in the Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant
(JAG) Program supported by federal grant funds and administered by the Board of State and Community
Corrections (hereafter) referred to as BSCC).
NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Chief Administrative Officer, Paul Hahn, is
authorized on behalf of the Butte County Board of Supervisors to submit the grant proposal for this funding
and sign the Grant Agreement with the BSCC, including any amendments thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that federal grant funds received hereunder shall not be used to supplant
expenditures controlled by this body.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the county agrees to abide by the statutes and regulations governing
the federal JAG program as well as the terms and conditions of the Grant Agreement as set forth by the BSCC.
Passed, approved and adopted by the Board of Supervisors of Butte County in a meeting thereof held
on May 19, 2015 by the following:
