Resol,,tion in Hontr of the 78th Wedding An:1:wersary
of
Orville and Edith Boles
WHEREAS, On August 28, 1937, Orville Boles, who served as an Army Staff sergeant in World War II, married
his sweetheart, Edith; and
WHEREAS, On that date, Orville and Edith vowed to love, honor, and cherish each other for the rest of their
days; and
WHEREAS, A wedding anniversary is the celebration of the commitment, love, trust, and partnership that grows
during a lifetime of shared memories; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Boles, along with their loved ones and friends, will be celebrating their 78th wedding
anniversary in August 2015 in Butte County;
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte is pleased to
recognize and honor Orville and Edith Boles on the Joyous occasion of their 78 wedding anniversary.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 281h day of Ju ly 2015, by the
following vote:
