Resolution No. 15-097
RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING DONATION
FROM THE PARADISE FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY
WHEREAS, the lutte County Library in Paradise lacks sufficient parking for those that use the Library on a
regular basis; and
WHEREAS, the adjacent Table Mountain Masonic Lodge (Lodge) also lacks sufficient parking for those that use
the Lodge on a regular basis; and
WHEREAS, the Butte County Library and the Lodge wish to share parking but lack funding to construct a drive
between the properties; and
WHEREAS, the Paradise Friends of the Library wish to once again assist the community by reimbursing the
County up to$40,000 for the construction of a drive between the properties.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Butte County Board of Supervisors thanks the Paradise Friends of
the Library and accepts a donation of up to $40,000 to facilitate the Paradise Library/ Lodge Parking Lot Transition
Project,
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 28th day of July 2015, by the following
vote:
