RESOLUTION IN RECOGNITION OF W. ERIC DUGGER
UPON RETIREMENT FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS, COUNTY OF BUTTE
WHEREAS, W. Eric Dugger, Senior Civil Engineer, announced his retirement as of June 26, 2015; and
WHEREAS, Eric began his career with the County of "utte in 1995 as an Assistant Civil Engineer in the
Department of Public Works, Solid Waste Division, advancing within the department to become Senior Civil
Engineer, his current present position; and
WHEREAS, during the past 20 years, Eric has been involved in construction projects totaling more than
$27 million at the Neal Road Recycling and Waste Facility; and
WHEREAS, Eric has strived to ensure that the Neal Road Recycling and Waste Facility was in regulatory
compliance, ensured construction projects were scheduled to provide continued capacity and the Facility
remains an asset to the residents of the County of Butte; and
WHEREAS, Eric has, during his 20-years, worked to earn the respect of his peers and fellow workers;
and
WHEREAS, Eric would like to thank those that he has had the pleasure to work with; and
WHEREAS, Eric plans on the continued pursuit of his hobbies, cycling, motorcycling, flying model aircraft,
travel and spending time with his wife,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that this Board, on its own behalf and on the behalf of the
residents of the County of Butte, wish to express to W. Eric Dugger sincere appreciation for his many years of
unselfish dedication and outstanding service rendered to the residents of the County of Butte, and further wish
him well on his retirement.

28th day of July 2015, by the following vote:
