RESOLUTIO1 AMENDING T E MASTER FEE SCHEDULE FOR SERVICES PROVIDED 11;YT E
COUNTY OF BUTTE ;Y ADDING CLERK-RECORDER FEES
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors established the ltutte County Master Fee Schedule by Resolution on March
24, 2009; and
WHE.EAS, the County of Butte is authorized to adopt and implement fees for services, provided however, that
such fees do not exceed the estimated reasonable cost of providing such services; and
WHEREAS, maintenance of a Master Fee Schedule serves the convenience of the County and all persons
affected by said charges; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was noticed and duly conducted to allow consideration of the proposed fee
adjustments prior to adoption of this Resolution; and
WHEREAS,The Clerk-Recorder desires to add fees charged for certain wedding and passport services; and
WHEI•EAS, Government Code section 54985 allows counties to levy fees in the amount reasonably necessary
to recover the cost of providing various services; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors desires to adjust the fees for various services provided by the County of
Butte as set forth above.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte adopts the fees as
delineated in the attached Exhibit A and amends the Butte County Master Fee Schedule to reflect the changes. All fee
adjustments shall become effective thirty(30) days after their adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte this 27th day of October, 2015, by
the following votes:
