HomeMy WebLinkAbout15-172RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING THE CONTINUING EXISTENCE OF THE ILOCAL DROUGHT EMERGENCY PROCLAMATION WHEREAS, Section 8-5 of the Butte County Code empowers the Chief Administrative Officer to proclaim the existence, or threatened existence of a local emergency when said County is affected, or likely to be affected, by a local emergency and the Board of Supervisors is not in session; and WHEREAS, conditions of peril to the public health and safety of persons and property have arisen within Butte I I I i I I i I I ii I i I I! I li F ill Ill ill 1 1111!1 i , 11 11 1111111 11 11111111 �!!!!! 11 I I I I I i local emergency; and WHEREAS, at the time of the commencement of the said local emergency the Board of Supervisors of Butte WHEREAS, the Chief Administrative Officer did piroclaiii-in the existence of a local emergency within Butte County on the 22nd day of July, 2015 relating to the drought conditions, and the Board of Supervisors did ratify the action of said Chief Administrative Officer on the 2.81h day of July, 2015. Emergency with respect to the existence of the statewide drought shail be deemed to continue to exist until its termination; and IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED AND ORDERED that during the existence of said local emergencies the powers, AAA ordinances, and resollutions of this County, w' the County of Butte Emergency Plan; and IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the State Director of the Governor's Office of Emergency Services; and IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that John H.
