RESOL TION AlITHORIZING T E TR 4 NSFE, OF REAL PROPERTY
POM THE COU TV OF BUTTE TO THE CITY SF 0'OVILLE
WI EREAS, the Butte County Hall of Records has been constructed on real property owned by the County of Butte
identified as Assessor's parcel number 031-150-122 with a street address of 155 Nelson Avenue, Oroville, California
95965; within the jurisdiction of the City of Oroville; and
WHEREAS, to provide accessibility to the Hall of Records, the County of Butte was required to construct frontage
improve ents such as curb,gutter and sidewalk adjacent to both Nelson Avenue and 2nd Street in the City of Oroville; and
WHEREAS, Nelson Avenue and 2 Street are owned and maintained by the City of Oroville; and
WHEREAS, to ensure that all frontage improvements are completely within the City of Oroville Right of Way, the City of
Oroville requires ownership of approximately 1,395 square feet of the Butte County Hall of Records real property; and
WHIP EAS, the City of Oroville requests that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte execute a Grant Deed to
convey the real property to the City of Oroville in fee.
I OW, THEREE0-B, I;E IT RESOLVE' , by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, that it is in
the best interest of the citizens of the County of Butte to approve the City of Oroville's request and authorize the General
Services Director on behalf of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte to execute the Grant Deed and any other
documents necessary to effect the conveyance of a portion of the real property first identified above consisting of
approximately 1,395 square feet together with its improvements to the City of Oroville.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, on this 8th day of
December 2015 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Wahl, Kirk, Lambert and Chair Teeter
NOES: None
