AN ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY 0~'
BUTTE, STATE Or CALIFORNIA, AN AR--MH (AGRICULTURAL-
RESIDENTIAL-MOBILE HOME) DISTRICT, PURSUANT TO
ORDINANCE N0. 475, AS AMENDED.

4 County, being the Zoning Enabling Ordinance of said County, as
~ amended, DO ORDAIN as follows;
g SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area, situated in
ry the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is

g District, and such area shall be subject to the restrictions an d

SECTION Z. REGULATIONS ~'OR AN "AR-MH" DISTRICT:
.The following regulations shall apply in .an "AR-MH".
District:
2.1 USES PERMITTED
a. Sincrl°-family dwellings .
b. Mobile Homes - to house one family, when such mohilE
home is the only housi?~g facility located on the
premises, prot~?ded the fnllowin~ conditions are
CO?? fnrmec~ td:
1} The arose area of the mobile home shall not be
less than 500 sq. ft.
2) All sanitary fac~.lities shall conform to State
Statutes and regulations and to local require-
ments of the Butte County ~iealth Department.
3} All electrical installations shall conform to
State Statutes and regulations as admin~.sterecl
by the Bu~3ding Division of the Butte County
Public Works Department.
c. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted uses
d. Agricultural uses.
e. Livestock, subject to requirements as follows:
l} Min~.mum lot area to be devoted to residential
use shall. be not.>.less.. than e~.ght thousand, one

2) Exclusive of the area devoted to the residentia:

2.2 THE FALLOWING USES SUBJECT TQ SECURING A USE PERMIT
IN EACH CASE:
a . Duplex dwellings and multiple-family dwe~ll.ngs .
b. Golf courses, country clubs, if permitted, would
permit accessory uses such as driving range, pro
shop, cocktail. bar, restaurant.
c. Public and quasi-public uses including churches,
firehouses, hospitals, parks and playgrounds,
schools, and public utility buildings.
d. Commercial. poultry farming and livestock farming.
e. Veterinary clinics, outpatient.
f. Nurseries and plant gardens.
2.3 LOT AREA REQUIRED:
Minimum required~arQ~a of lot per dwelling unit shall
be not less than eight thousand, one hundred twnety-
five (8,12x) sq. ft.

2.4 LOT WIDTH REQUIRED:
Minimum lot width shall be not less than .sixty-five
(65) ft.
2.5 FRONT YARD REQUIRED:
Minimum front yard shall be fifty {50) ft. from the
centerline of the road, except where the road is
classified by the County as a Federal Aid Secondary
Road, the minimum building setback requirement shat.

road.
2.6 SIDE YARD REQUIRED;
Minimum side yard shall not be less than five (5) f

SECTION 4. Tn compliance with. the provisions of the
Zoning Enabling Ordinance, the same is hereby amended by adding
this Ord~.nance in full.
SECTION 5. The penalties for the vio~:ation of the zonir
hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided in the
Zoning Enabling Ordinance. Im compliance with the provisions of
the. Zoning Enabling Ordinance, this ordinance shall be from and

after its effective date become a supplement to. and part of the

.~~ECTTON 6: This ordinance shall be and it is-:hereby
declared to be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30
