The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
State of California, DO ORDAIN as follows:
1. Section 1402 of Ordinance No. 475, as amended by
Ordinance No.1333 is hereby amended to read as follows:
14.2 Public hearing (a) the Planning Commission
shall hold a public hearing on any such proposed amendmento
Notice of the time, date and place of said hearing including a
general explanation of the matter to be considered including a
general description of the area affected shall be given at least
ten calendar days before the hearing by publishing the notice
once in a newspaper of general circulation within the affected
area, published and circulated in the county. In addition
to notice by publication, the Planning Commission shall give
notice of the hearing by mail or delivery to all persons, includ-
ing business, corporations or other public or private entities,
owning real property within 300 feet of the property which is
the subject of the proposed zoning change,

', 20 This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days after the
~' date of its adoption, and prior to the expiration of 15 days
from the passage thereof shall be published at least once
in the _ orovil.le. Mercury , a newspaper of general circulation
published and circulated in the County of Butte and thenceforth
.and thereafter-the same shall be in full force and effect.
