ORDINANCE N0. 3.539
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 1284 OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE, KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"
The Board of Supervisors, of the County of Butte, State
of California, DO ORDAIN, as follows:
Section 1. Section No. 17, Central Services 190-000,
of Ordinance No. 1284 of the County of Butte, is hereby amended
by deleting therefrom the fallowing:
Positions ~ Class Title
2 Typist Clerk II
and adding thereto the following:
1 Typist Clerk II
thereby changing the total from 9 1/2 to 8 1/2.
Section 2. Section No. 25, County Clerk 310-000, of
Ordinance No. 1284 of the County of Butte, is hereby amended by
deleting therefrom the following:
Positions Class Title
4 Superior Court Clerk I/II
and adding thereto the following:
~ Superior Court Clerk I/II
thereby'changing the total from 16 to 17.

Section 3. Section No. 29, Sheriff-Coroner 350-000, of
Ordinance No. 128 of the County of Butte, is hereby amended by
deleting therefrom the following:
Positions Class Title
2 Sheriff's Clerk I
and adding thereto the following:
3 Sheriff`s Clerk I
thereby changing the total from g5 to 96.
This ordinance shall take effect on February 8, 1975 which
is beyond 30 days after the date of its adoption and before the
expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage, it shall be
published in a newspaper published in the County of Butte, State
of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, this 7th day of January , 1975 by the
following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Gameron, Richter, McKillop, Madigan and
Ghairman Ladd
NOES : None
ABSENT : None
NOT VOTING: None f~
