AN ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF
BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AN "RT-1" {SINGLE--
FAMILY RESIDENTIAL TRAILER) DISTRICT, PURSUANT
TO ORDINANCE NO. 475.
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State

of California, under and pursuant to Ordinance No. 475 of said
County being the Zoning Enabling Ordinance, DO ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area, situated in
the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is
hereby zoned as a "RT-1" (Single Family Residential Trailer) Dis-
trict, and such area shall be subject to the restrictions and
restricted uses and regulations hereinafter specified and provides
Said area so zoned being located in the unincorporated area of
Bdte County, in Paradise, more particularly described as:
Being.a portion of .the S~ of Sec 1, T22N, R3E,MDB&M,
being all of Lots 34, 3S, & 40 of said Section des-
cribed as beginning at the intersection of Clark Rd.
and Warren Rd.; thence west along Warren Rd. to Moore
Rd.; thence north along Moore Rd. to a point located
664.1 ft. south of the center of said Sec 1; thence
from said point east, parallel with the east--west
centerline of siad Sec 1, 95Q ft., more or less, to
Clark Rd.; thence southwesterly along Clark Rd. to
the point of beginning.
Containing 13.26 acres, more or less.
SECTION 2. REGULATIONS FOR A "RT-1" DISTRICT:
The following regulations shall apply in a "RT-1" (Sing
~ Family Residential Trailer) District:
2.1 USES PERMITTED:
a. Single-family dwellings.
b. Mobile Homes to house one family, when-such mobile
home is the only housing facility located on the
premises, provided the following conditions are

2 1, The floor area .within the mobile home sha11 not
3 be less than 500 square feet.
4 2. All sanitary facilities shall conform to the
5 State Statutes and regulations and to local
8 requirements of the Health Department; and
7 3. All electrical installations shall conform to
8 State Statutes and regulations.
9 c. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted uses.
10 d. Household pets, but not including livestock, poultry
11 or poisonous reptiles.
l2 2.2 LOT AREA REQUIRED: .
13 Minimum lot area of a lot per dwelling unit or a
14 mobile home unit sham. be no less than eight thousan
15 one hundred and twenty-five ( 8,125) sq. ft. exceptir.
18 where public sewage disposal service is provided, a
17 minimum of six thousand five hundred (6,500) sq. ft.
18 may be allowed for inside lots with a minimum 'of se-

21 2.3 LOT WIDTH REQUIRED:
22 Minimum lot width shall not be less than sixty-five
23 (65) feet.

classified by the County as a Federal Aid Secondary
Road the minimum building setback requirement shall

be fifty-five (55} ft. from the centerline of the
road.
2.5 SIDE YARD REQUIRED:
Minimum side yard-shall not be less than five (5} ft
2.6 THE FOLLOWING USES SUBJECT TO SECURING A U5E PERMIT
IN EACH CASE:
a. Golf courses and country clubs.
b. Public ands,quasi-public uses including churches,
firehouses, hospitals, parks and playgrounds, school:
and public utility buildings.
SECTION 3. All uses of land within the district not
speca.fically authorized and permitted in Section 2 are prohibited.
SECTION 4. In compliance with the provisions of the
Zoning Enabling Ordinance, the same is hereby amended by adding
this Ordinance in full. ~ - .
SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the zoninc
hereby imposed within the-district shall be as provided in the
Zoning Enabling Ordinance. in compliance with the provisions of
the Zoning Enabling Ordinance, this Ordinance shall be from and
after its effective date become a supplement to~and~part of the
Zoning Enabling Ordinance.
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be and it is hereby
declared to~be in full force and effect from and>after thirty (3Q)
days after the date of its -pas~~,ge, and before the expiration of

fifteentl5} days. after its passage, this ordinance shall be
published once with the names of the members of the Board of
Supervisors voting for and against it in the Paradise Post
a newspaper published a.n the County of Butte,
State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, this l~.th day of February,
1975, by the following vote:
AYE S; Supervisors Cameron, Richter, McKillop and Chairman Ladd

ABSENT: Supervisor Madigan
