AN ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF
BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AN "AR-MH" (AGRICULTURAL
RESIDENTIAL MOBILE HOME} DISTRICT, k'URSUANT TO
ORDINANCE NO. 475
The Board of Supervisors-of-the County of Butte, State,
of California, under and pursuant to Ordinance. No. 475, of said
(County, being the Zoning Enabling Ordinance, DO ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area, situated in
the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby
zoned as an "AR NiH" (Agricultural-Residential Mobile Home) District,
and such area shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted
uses and regulations hereinafter specified and provided. Said area
so zoned being located in the unincorporated area of Butte County,
in Paradise, more particularly described as:
A portion of the SE's of Sec i, T22N, R3E, MDS&M more
particularly described as;
beginning at a point on the north-south centerline of
said Sec 1, said point located in:Moore Road and being
580.50 ft. north of the S~ corner of said Sec l; thence
continuing north along said north-south centerline
754.07 ft. to Warren.Rd; thence east along warren Rd.,
para11e1 with the south line of said sec 1, 852 ft~.
more or less to Clark Rd; thence southerly along Clark
Rd; 770 ft. more or less to a point located 580.50 ft.
north of the south line of said Sec l; thence west
parallel with the south line of said Sec 1, 724.ft.
more or less to the point of beginning.
Containing 13.5 acres, more or less.
SECTION 2. REGULATIONS FOR AN "AR-MH" DISTRICT:
The following regulations shall apply in an "AR-MH"
District:
2.1 USES PERMITTED:
a. Single--family dwellings.
b. Mobile Homes - to house one family, when such mobile

home is the only housing facility located on the
premises, prova:ded the following conditions are
conformed for
1. The gross area of the mobile home shall not be
less than 50(~ sq. ft.
2. All samitary facilities shall conform to State
Statutes and regulations and to local require -
ments of the Butte County Health Department.
3. All electrical installations shall-conform to
State Statutes and regulations as administered
by the Building Division of the Butte County
Public Works Department.
c. Accessory buildings pertine~'t to the permitted uses.
d. Agricultural uses.
e. Livestock, subject to requirements as follows:
1. Minimum lot area to be devoted to residential
use shall be not less than eight thousand one
hundred twenty-five (8,125) sq, ft.
2. Exclusive of the area devoted to the residential
use, the following lot or parcel areas shall be '~
required for each animal raised or kept on the
premises:
a} For each horse or head of cattle over one
(~.) year of age - eight. thousand one hundred
twenty-five (8,125). sq. ft.
b) For each head of sheep or goats - two thou-

2,2 THE FOLLOWING USES .SUBJECT TO SECURING A USE PERMIT
IN EACH CASE:
a. Duplex dwellings and multiple-family dwellings.
b. Golf courses, country clubs, if permitted, would
permit accessory uses such as driving range, pro
shop, cocktail bar, restaurant.
c. Public and..quasi--public uses including churches,
firehouses, hospitals, parks and`playgrounds, school:
and public utility buildings.
d. Commercial.pota3.try farming and. livestock farming.
e. Veterinarg~clinics, outpatient.
f. Nurseries and plant gardens.
2.3 LOT AREA REQUIRED:
Minimum required area of lot per dwelling unit shall
be not less than eight thousand, one hundred twenty-
f've (8,125) sq. ft.
2.4 LOT WIDTH REQUIRED:
Minimum lot width shall be not less than sixty-five
(65) ft.
2.5 FRONT YARD REQUIRED:
Minimum front yard shall be fifty (50) ft. from the
centerline of the road, except where the road is
classified by the County as a Federal Aid Secondary

be fifty-five (55} ft. from the centerline of the
road.
2.6 SIDE YARD REQUIRED:
Minimum side yard shall not be less than five (5) ft~
SECTION 3, All uses of land within the district not
specifically authorized and permitted in Section 2 are prohibited.
SECTION 4. In compliance with the provisions of the
Zoning Enabling Ordinance, the same is hereby amended by adding
this Ordinance in full.
SECTION 5. The penalties for the violation of the zonznc
hereby imposed within the district shall be as provided in the
Zoning Enabling Ordinance. In compliance with the provisions of
the Zoning Enabling Ordinance, this ordinance shall be from and
after its effective date become a supplement to and part of the
zoning Enabling ordinance.'
SECTION G. This ordinance shall be and it is hereby
declared to be in full farce and effect from and after thirty (30)
days after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of
fifteen (15) days after its passage, this ordinance-shall }~
published once with the names of the members of the Board of
Supervisors voting for and against it in the Paradise Past

Butte, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of B.utte,..State of California, thaa,;., 11th day of
February 1975, by the following vote:
